The Ferrari 312 is undoubtedly one of the Italian Scuderia’s most cherished single-seaters. Between 1975 and 1980, it competed in 90 races, winning 27 of them, and secured four Constructors’ titles and three Drivers’ titles.
The 1979 season saw the introduction of the T4 evolution, which, with Jody Scheckter at the wheel, would claim the world championship title. However, it would be Gilles Villeneuve who truly captured the fans’ imagination. His immense talent and tenacity made him the protagonist of some of the most memorable races for enthusiasts, such as the 1979 US Grand Prix or the 1981 Spanish Grand Prix.
It was precisely with the Ferrari 312T4 that Villeneuve achieved his best result, classifying second in the Drivers’ title.
